Celebrating 10 years of WVCEDA

This time last week we were preparing for our tenth birthday celebration Bulong Estate - Yarra Valley

We are grateful to all those members past and present who took the time to come and celebrate with us.

Thank you also to Barry and Christine of @thecanvasbarnbnb who shared their story as original members.

To inaugural president Peta Godenzi for cutting the cake, and to @kimlinssen of ButterCup Hill for her baking genius. Delicious.

A big thanks to Christine Birch for catering and Monica Blanchfield for the venue.

WVCEDA was a chance to reform an organisation for businesses, traders and tourism operators in the face of declining memberships in the traditional chamber of commerce models Victoria wide.

We are proud of what we have achieved, bringing a fresh perspective to advocacy and representing the voice of the people to the table.

Committees past and present have been effective, talented and committed - and it should be noted that all of our committee members received certificates for their 10 year membership milestone, further underscoring the value of participating for the good of all.

A huge nod of gratitude to @geoffvickers, former treasurer and secretary who was instrumental in establishing WVCEDA for a new era. We continue with his legacy.

So we now look forward to the next 10 years and welcoming new members. Our mission has always been 'business and community -stronger together' and that will continue to stand.Celebrating 10 years of WVCEDA
