3 ways to enjoy a spring adventure in the Warburton Valley

The sun is shining and the great outdoors is ready and waiting for us all to blossom again. Here are three great ideas to enjoy nature in the Warburton Valley.

  1. Hire and Bike and ride the Rail Trail from Lilydale to Warburton (or in reverse!). Cog Bike Hire has just what you ned to get the whole family on two wheels. Hire points in Warburton and at Carriage Cafe, Seville mean you can do as little or as much as you want. And there are plenty of interesting stops along the way. Don’t forget your camera to capture those spring blooms.

  2. Wander among the blossoms at Rayners Orchard. The Warburton Valley is a delicious food bowl and there are many orchards where you will see the glorious pink and white blossom of spring. A tractor trip at Rayners Orchard means you can get up close and enjoy the soft scents and pretty vistas of a brand new season.

  3. The Yarra River is the heart of the Warburton Valley and there are plenty of ways to enjoy the water and rapids that provide experiences for those with a sense of adventure. The Warburton Adventure Company (you can find their office on the main street of Warburton) offers a range of supported activities to get you rafting, canoeing, hiking and more. As they say "unearth your wild."

Or simply arrive in Warburton and enjoy the easy access to wandering on the banks of the Yarra, the meandering through shops and galleries and relaxing into life in our cafes and restaurants.
